Made in USA - Eddie Van Halen Signature amp line.
The 2x12 Peavey 6505 212 Combo Guitar Amp pours out a punishing 60W through 2 Sheffield 1200 speakers in a closed-back cabinet for aggressive tone with plenty of low end.
The Peavey 6505 Amp features a footswitchable (no footswitch included) lead/rhythm channel select and reverb defeat.
Master controls include 3-band EQ, resonance, and presence. Rhythm channel uses pre/post gain controls and bright/crunch switches.
Lead channel has pre/post gain controls.
Resonance control allows manipulation of the attack/punch of the initial signal response.
High Resonance yields a woody/knocky front end where low Resonance settings have a more traditional / slower dynamic response.
All in all a very versatile amp capable of punchy clean/dirty blues or soaring lead tones.

Made in U.K. - 1971 - An incredibly rare version of the VOX AC30/6 TB made by the founders post exiting VOX! Engineered by Vox founder and Circuit designer Tom Jennings and Dick Denney. After Jennings was squeezed out of Vox, he started Jennings Electronics Industries, and with Dick Denney they started producing the JV-40 which was for all intents and purposes identical to the 1965-1968 design of the Vox AC-30/6 Top Boost Models. The only differences were tube placement and the bizzare use of Organ Drawbars rather than rotary controls. 4 x EL84 Power Tubes, GZ34 Rectifier, 12AX7 Preamps and Top Boost. This model comes stock with 2 x Original Celestion T1096 Silver Bell AlNiCo Speakers - One Speaker has just had new braided lead wire installed (between cone and terminal). Both feature their original voice coils, paper cones, and spider springs and sound incredible. Features Tremolo and true Vibrato (footswitchable only) and Vibrato, Normal and Brilliant Channels. All components and transformers original. Footswitch is a hardwired lead (any standard latching switch will work). 240 Volts with pin adaptor on the UK style plug.

Made in the USA - August 1984 - 60 Watt Tube Guitar Combo. 1 x 12’’.Sounds awesome!
‘’The S.O.B. was introduced in the Mark II era. This was Mesa/Boogie's first attempt at having a reissue of the Mark I. It has 2 cascading gain inputs and its controls are Volume(gain) 1, Volume(gain) 2, Master, High, Middle, Low, Limit or Presence (depending on the version). No foot-switching available, however an A/B splitter pedal can be used to select input 1 or input 2 separately.
There was also a reverb option which replaced the Middle knob with the reverb control.’’
This particular unit features Limit (instead of Presence) and Spring Reverb (in place of a Middle EQ control).
The Limit control essentially rolls back clean headroom and compresses it into Harmonic Gain, reducing volume while increasing distortion (very useful for low volume requirements). With the Limit set to ‘0’, the full 60 watts of clean tube headroom can be accessed. As the Limit control is turned toward ‘10’, the signal volume drops as distortion increases.
The Spring Reverb option sacrifices the middle EQ control leaving tone shaping to an dynamic interaction between the Treble and Bass controls (still very useable).
The preamp section is built on a solid single sided PCB, but the high-voltage/power section is all point-to-point.
This unit has a replacement speaker, with a Eminence 12-1946 (Quilter Red Seal) 8 ohm Ceramic Speaker (in place of the original Eminence Black Shadow.
Export Model with selectable Voltage - Fitted with Aus Plug and 240 Volt.
