Made in USA 1981. One of Alembic’s more affordable models. Maple and Purple heart neck construction. Mahogany body with Zebrawood caps. Ebony Interesting tone controls allow for a heaps of different tonal possibilities with just the single pickup. The toggle switch engage a bass cut, a ‘mellow’ filter and Filter tone control for some static cocked wah sounds. Schaller tuners and Alembics found brass hardware. This is where it gets interesting using the on off switch to bring in the Middle Pick Up. Switch it on and you get:

- Bridge + Middle (Knopfler territory)
- Bridge with a shelf filter (think cocked wah) + Middle (thickens it up and adds articulation)
- Neck and Bridge (Series – Humbucker) + Middle
