Made in Japan, part of the famous Fender E Series made at the legendary FujiGen Gakki factory in 1986. Features a one-piece maple neck with the finish removed from the fingerboard, an upgraded Fender LSR Roller Nut, and original sealed Fender Japan tuners.
The double-bound Tele Custom-style body does not appear to be original but is in good shape, and is fitted with a Fender neck plate and six-saddle string-through bridge.
The pickups have also been upgraded, with a 1990s American Fender Telecaster neck pickup and Seymour Duncan STL-1B Vintage Broadcaster bridge pickup. The R on the pickup label identifies Connie Rocha as the winder/final assembler under Seymour Duncan's older identification system.
Comes with a vintage-style hard case. Very nice guitar to play.
