Greco VB-450 Violin Bass - Made in Japan (c. 1973 - 1975)
Early Japanese-made Greco VB-450 violin bass finished in sunburst. This model follows the classic violin bass design with a lightweight hollow body, bolt-on neck, dual pickups and individual pickup switching.
Features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, floating bridge, trapeze tailpiece and original control panel.
Overall Condition: Very good, no major dints or scrapes
Repair notes: Shim added to the neck pocket to achieve a nice low action
Fitted with new Daddario strings as of: 11/06/2026

Fret Condition: Fine, no major wear or grooves

The pickguard Red Tortoiseshell, which was requested by Hama, has been adopted, and together with the bridge cover, finger rests, paddle pegs, etc. that Hama Okamoto is particular about, it has become even more authentic.
