Made in Japan between approximately 1997 and 2000, the Fender ST68-85TX is a higher-spec 1968-style Stratocaster from Fender Japan.
It features an alder body, maple neck with separate maple fingerboard, 21 frets, large CBS-style headstock and vintage-style tremolo. Factory electronics consist of three USA-made Fender Texas Special single-coil pickups with standard five-way Stratocaster switching.
