Made in Japan, Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan) in 1984 - 1987. The CTL-50R is essentially a special-run version of the TL72-55 (1972 Telecaster Reissue) that Fender Japan made in the late 80s, but branded under the Collectors Series label for certain catalog runs.
Featuring an alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style bridge with three saddles. The ashtray ridge has been filed down. Loaded with Fender Pure Vintage '64 Telecaster pickups.
