Made in USA 1970-72. Slotted headstock version of Gibson classic short scale bass. Walnut nitro finish, original pat no. pickups, original frets in a dark rosewood board.*Wiring harness has been replaced CTS pots and a Switchcraft output jack with the original Sprague caps used. Rotary switch has been replaced with a Switchcraft threeway. There is a stable repair to a crack in the body near the controls cavity. The flat head intonation adjustment screw for the D string has split. Intonation can still be adjusted just a bit fiddly. Some not original screws for the cavity plate. /w Original Gibson case.

Point to Point wiring - Custom Cast Aluminium Enclosure - N.O.S. Japanese Transistors. Very dynamic response to attack with odd and even order harmonics flying out of it in every which way! Unlike the originals, Unity Gain is easily met and the Octave Cult offers a wide range of boost. An internal trim pot can be used (with caution) to balance the circuit between Fuzz and Octave Harmonics (the stronger the octave harmonic, the less fuzzy).
