Vintage 1970s USA - the Maestro Echoplex EP-3 Solid State delivers true tape delay with authentic 70s sound. Mike Battle's solid state technology makes these models much more durable and affordable than their tube-wielding ancestors.
The EP-3 introduced the FET preamp that was frequently used by players without an echo effect at all to, as Tom Verlaine has said, goose it up. This unit has been tested and is working well. Heads are clean, motor speed is stable. The currently installed tape loop is a little chewed up but a brand new tape loop from Echofix has been ordered and will be included with the sale.
This unit runs on 100 volt and requires a step down transformer for use within Australia.
