A little buckle rash on the rear. Some minor fret wear, could use a light fret dress. Plays and sounds really good! Solid axe!

RB-250 model, 5 string Mastertone, made in Kalamazoo USA pre 1984, most likely 1970s vintage, Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard, Mahogany resonator, Gibson stamped tuners, Gibson gold hardware possibly added later, original nickel ‘clamshell’ tail piece included. Gibson hard case. Well played instrument with a lot of player wear, with rich, full and loud tone.

Original tuners working fine. Non original tune-o-matic bridge **Has had a repair to the body on both sides of the neck where there is evidence of repaired cracking **The neck and headstock have not been repaired. w/ Gator hardcase

Really nice condition SG from the ‘golden era’ of Gibsons.
Original lyre tremolo, double kluson tuners in awesome condition and very light finish wear considering it’s age.
Original pots dating to ‘64 and the harness doesn’t look like it’s been tampered with.
Original Patent no. pickups.
No headstock break!
*Has had a heel repair and someone has added a metal plate to mount the the strap pin and possibly an attempt to reinforce the area, repair is stable.
One non-original screw on the cavity plate. Other tuners have been installed at some point and screws holes remain, mostly hidden under original tuners.
Non-original nylon nut.
