Vintage 1988 Made in USA - 47mm width nut - As favoured by Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson! Flatop Acoustic with Slotted Headstock! Excellent Condition - Refretted by Jim Cargill. Small knock to top shoulder also glued by Jim Cargill.
Info as per Martin's records: Your serial number matches to a 0-16NY that was constructed in 1988. In 1988 we made 12 of these models.
This example does not feature an adjustable truss rod, and is lightly braced. As such, Silk and Steel strings are recommended.

Epiphone - Custom Shop Limited Edition Ripper
Made in China, 2008, Epiphones Custom Shop Limited Edition Ripper is their re-issue of Gibsons famed Ripper series basses from the late 1970s. The Ripper has a hard maple body with an ebony finish (which was only offered in 2008). The hard maple bolt-on neck sports a maple fingerboard with a brass nut (1.65 inch width) and abalone dot inlays.
The Precision - Jazz pickups on this one have been replaced with pickups from a modern USA thunderbird (legend has it the Thunderbird was owned by JET). It has also been upgraded with a replacement pick guard to mount the pickups.
Cosmetically it is in great shape and plays super well. Tough as.

Has a high action. Bridge saddle is as low as it can go. It is playable currently but to get the action lower it will ideally need a neck reset.
