Vintage 1974 Made in Japan - Monphonic Analog Synthesiser - Yamahas first real synthesiser introduced in 1974. The SY-1 is a semi-preset synthesizer with base sounds that can be manipulated with onboard modulation and filter. The Filter the same as that found in the famed GX-1! One listen to the SY-1 and you'll hear the signature classic synth sound that defined Yamaha throughout their more famous CS-series. Aftertouch effects can also be used across the 37-note pressure-sensitive keyboard.
