Made in Japan circa 1975, this Fernandes Burny Olds FTE-55 is an early Telecaster-style model from Fernandes mid-1970s Japanese production.
It features a bolt-on maple neck, dual vintage-style single-coil pickups, three-way selector and master volume and tone controls, along with a traditional Telecaster-style bridge with threaded steel saddles and ashtray cover. This example retains the early Burny Olds splash logo, plain sealed tuners and neck stamp 58582. The FTE-55 model designation reflects its original ¥55,000 list price.
Condition: Good, with a small chip on the neck and a few very minor finish chips; otherwise very good for its age
Repair/Modification Notes: All pots replaced; output jack replaced; both knobs replaced with Fender amp knobs
