YAMAHA - CS-40M
Vintage 1979 Made in Japan - Full Analog Duophonic Synthesiser! From the same line as the famed CS-80; The CS40M was also used by Vangelis as well as Electronic Dream Plant, Sneaker Pimps, Ultravox and Duran Duran. 2 Voice Polyphony; each Voice has 2 x VCOs and independent Modulation/Octave/Waveform Routing. The result allows for both very phat monophonic bass tones as well as deeply atmospheric soundscapes. Also features Ring Modulation, Noise, ADSR VCF and VCA and CV in/out. 20 Patches of User Saveable Memory. This unit has been fully Serviced by Synth Repair Guy (OEM Electronics) - Nothing in the signal / tone chain has been changed; only remote chips responsible for routing waveshape and octave settings have been changed, leaving the synths voice original and untouched. Fully Calibrated and tuned. *This unit requires 100 Volts AC power for correct operation; for use within Australia a 240V->100V (or 110V) step-down transformer will be required. Use on US and Japan grid power OK.

To add a bit of fun to the mix, it also has panel pads to assign sound effects such as crowd laughter, thunder sounds and car horns to really spice up your performance. Don't forget the MIDI capability, as well as RCA stereo outputs for running in to your favourite hi-fi system.
