Made in USA 1978. All original Grabber bass with sliding pickup. Natural finish nicely worn to a soft satin feel. All Maple construction. Neck is straight and stable, truss rod functions normally, frets are excellent with minor wear. 34 3/8 inch full scale. Argonaut hi-mass chromed brass bridge fitted but original bridge and ‘ashtray’ bridge cover are included. Truetone double contact output jack fitted, original jack included. With Hiscox hard case. Professionally setup for a low medium action and strung with fresh flatwound strings, no buzzing or dead spots, an excellent playing and sounding example of a rare classic. Weight 4.4 Kg.

Bridge and neck Belman soapbar pickups. Belman active circuitry and piezo pickups in bridge with a blend knob between the active pickups and the piezos.
The piezos were retro fitted by Anthony Bell himself a year after the bass was built.
Extra tone controls for the piezo on the back.
Three piece body - Australian Blackwood, African Wenge and Brazilian Mahogany.
Neck through is made of African wenge. Canadian maple stringers and Australian Gigi timber on the headstock.
Dotless Pau Fero fingerboard with marker dots on the side.

Factory loaded with an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge (19mm string spacing), and a pair of IBZ DX-P/J pickups through an active Vari-mid 3-band EQ.
