Tokai - Cat's Eyes CE-280D
Vintage Japanese-made dreadnought acoustic in the style of a Martin D-18. Laminated spruce top with mahogany back/sides, slim/medium neck, and bound rosewood fretboard delivering balanced, warmed tone with nods of mid- 80s craftsmanship. Solid condition for age with typical light wear, straight neck, and excellent playability. Chunk taken out of the bottom of the neck, see photos.

Features a one-piece maple neck, black finish (likely alder body), Kluson-style Deluxe tuners, upgraded modern Tokai 6-screw trem, and loaded with the infamous E-series Alnico pickups. Non original knobs. Some minor fret wear on the high strings.

Made in Japan in 2018, this Tokai LC136S is a Japanese-built Les Paul Custom-style model finished in classic Black Beauty.
Constructed with a two-piece mahogany body and one-piece mahogany set neck, with a rosewood fingerboard, mother-of-pearl block inlays and multi-ply body and neck binding. Fitted with a pair of Tokai PAF-Vintage MK2-S humbuckers.
Condition: Excellent, with slight patina to the hardware

Fitted with new D’Addario strings as of: 17/11/2025
