Made in Taiwan in 1999, this Yamaha Motion B MB-40C is a compact, lightweight bass from Yamahas long-running Motion B series, finished in Blue Burst.
The bass features a bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and a P-J pickup configuration combining a split-coil Precision-style pickup with a Jazz-style bridge pickup. Electronics are passive, with three controls for volume, pickup balance and tone. Hardware includes a Yamaha four-saddle bridge and sealed tuners.
