The 1312 Distortion is a famous three letter 🐀 distortion circuit with 8 different clipping options on a rotary switch. The 1312 V3 features an internal charge pump that turns your 9V supply voltage into 18V for increased headroom. You can use an 18V supply but you must change the internal dip-switch settings FIRST. Please reference the manual.

Unlike conventional, solid state overdrive and distortion pedals, the V3 uses tube technology to derive ultra smooth, dynamic punchy tones that only tubes can do. The all tube circuitry runs on high voltage which is derived from a 12V AC power supply and features three gain modes which are adjustable via four button DIP switch on the underside of the V3.

Dazatronyx - Tweedsville
A simple little circuit, which sounds like two stages of a low-wattage amplifier being pushed. Raw classic crunch, adding touch sensitive rich harmonics.
The Comp mode switch gives three voicing options which make changes to the preamp and second compression stage. This is more than just swapping out clipping diodes.
The middle position gives mild class A style breakup. This could be edge of breakup for some pickups when dialed in with the Pre knob. But will of course, drive harder for neck humbuckers etc.
In bottom + mode, the preamp is overdriven, and a secondary compression stage is added. The driving transistor uses an inductor to add a little growl to the bottom and mids, and makes the saturation less sharp. The power amp compression is simulated by driving gates of field effect transistors. This is unlike the trick where the internal body diode of a mosfet can be used for hard clipping, by the way.
The top ++ mode has the most crunch and aggression. Germanium is used to affect the compression asymmetry.
This is a less is more style circuit in terms of simplicity. Like classic valve amps, there is no buffer at the input. As such, you can expect a warmer response connected directly to the guitar, and a brighter response if placed after a buffered pedal.
This has been a progressive development based on requests to build a Les Lius style circuit based on the 70s Electra Distortion framework.

This is the deepest muff dive that you're ever going down. I've built this project as a development tool to sculpt classic and custom muffs. Breadboards are one of the best ways to innovate and quickly try ideas. But being able to instantly A/B/C different parts in a rock-solid giggable box is the holy grail for me.
This tool takes all of the parts which varied in the classic muff designs, and makes them switchable. Mix and match as you like to design your own ultimate muffs. Hot swap transistors to test on the fly. Being able to sculpt the shape and scoop of your tone control is a very powerful thing. As well as changing the bass responses in the clipping stages. The circuit is completely analog with only mechanical switching.
Think you've got a special ear for tone? Your best-ever version muff is in here. You'll need to find it. Rather than trying to design pedals for people, I would rather hear back from people what they have been able to make for themselves.

The new One Control Dyna Red Distortion 4k is the culmination of two decades of handbuilt production of the venerable BJFe Dyna Red Distortion. Over 20 years ago, this red pedal was the first BJFe distortion pedal Bjorn Juhl had ever created, and over the years has found itself on many a touring pro board or studio player's collection. This is the latest evolution of the Dyna Red, with many tweaks learned along the way, and a brand new fourth knob (4K) that helps dial this pedal in precisely for a wider variety of amplifiers as compared to the original models. (This is an older blurb from the builder as a newer version is now available - however this is still a venerable effect all the same.)
