Solidly built with a spruce top, rosewood finished back and sides, and a bold tortoise guard. Fret ends a little sharp. Action a tad high. Non original tuners, replaced with Gotoh tuners.

Vintage 1988 Made in USA - 47mm width nut - As favoured by Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson! Flatop Acoustic with Slotted Headstock! Excellent Condition - Refretted by Jim Cargill. Small knock to top shoulder also glued by Jim Cargill. 

Info as per Martin's records: Your serial number matches to a 0-16NY that was constructed in 1988. In 1988 we made 12 of these models. 

This example does not feature an adjustable truss rod, and is lightly braced. As such, Silk and Steel strings are recommended.
