Vintage 1965~1970 Made in Japan - 'Dynamic Guitar No. 40' A very early build by Nippon Gakki.
From another online listing... "In 1951 Yamaha obtained Patent for Dynamic Bracing which produced a louder sound than classic guitars thus Dynamic Guitars were born in 1952 for the market in Japan."
"In 1965 onwards JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) mark on the head stock..." This example features said JIS stamp, placing it as a post '65 model.
It features a Solid Ezomatsu (Spruce) Top, Solid Flamed Maple Body, Oak Fret Board and Bridge.
It has a lovely sound and strong projection and has just been freshly setup and restrung. w/ Original or period correct case
The MOTIF RACK ES is a remarkably well-crafted, high-output instrument, with a very deeply layered synthesis foundation and a sound chip all its own, that includes 128 voices of polyphony, a custom reverb algorithm, 8 effects inserts in the internal mix matrix, and yes - they kept the Arpeggiator. SPDIF and Optical digital outs and a USB port are standard, and access to the complete PLG expansion card library is available as well, courtesy of the 2 top-loading expansion slots. Made in Japan.

Made in Japan in 1983, candy apple red. I'm gonna go ahead and guess SS stands for Super Samurai. It's got the three single coil pickups like a Strat, although they're in a slighter wider housing. Tone-wise, it's like a beefy, extra punchy Strat: heaps of attack and spank with a nice low end and chiming treble. Body: alder Neck: maple with rosewood board, 12" radius, 25.5" scale Weight: 3.725kg. With original faux leather gig bag!

It works like a cassette tape recorder, but it records performance data instead of sounds. The MDR-3 not only records the notes you play; it also remembers the voices and rhythms you select, the front panel controls you change, as well as all the expression pedal, footswitch and knee lever positions, to reproduce your performance exactly as you play it. Moreover, you can separately record different parts of your performance, building up a song part by part. Compatible with HS series / EL7 / EL15 / EL25.

Has most of the features of both the YC-30, and the YC-25D, plus the following additional features: Upper Manual - 5-1/3', Kinura 8', Piano, Harpsichord, Vibraphone, Sustain 8', 4', Marimba, Piano, Harpsichord, Attack Mute, Percussion 16', 4', 2', 1. Bass - Tromba. Pitch ribbon: Slide Trombone, Squawk, Birds, Astro. The upper keyboard has 61keys, and the lower manual has 42 Treble keys and 19(!?!) Bass keys which can be switched to extend the Treble section. Note that in addition to the fact that the pitch ribbon is NOT the same as the portamento strip n the YC-30, it's function is also different. Rather than the plain flute voices, it controls the Slide Trombone, Squawk, Birds and Astro voices. Slide Trombone and Squawk are bright organ-like voices, Birds sounds like chirping, and Astro is sort of a ring-modulator effect. The range of the pitch ribbon is 3 octaves. The YC-45D uses the same tiltable stand as the YC-30. Includes the hard case lid. Date introduced: 1972. In 1977, the YC-45D list price was $2,975. Weighs in at a hefty 132lbs!
